Screaming like a happy little girl!
Oh. My. God. Well, ya know how All the Wisconsin Gang came down for a visit? Well, Katking brought his anime collection. I save them for a treat, usually, and today I was so completely bored, I was ready to go spend time with my family volintarily, if you can believe it. Well, I pulled up the anime list and randomly clicked on a series. Lo and behold it was one of my ALL TIME FAV. MANGA SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started jumping and screaming like a little loon. "It's Kyohei! And Ranmaru! And Yuki! And SUNAKO! OH MY GOD! IT'S WALLFLOWER!!!!! HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! IT'S A MIRACLE!" *bows down and kisses Katking's feet* Oh my god, you brought me the whole series, you wonderful, wonderful, wonderful man! If you ever need anything, a liver, a kidney, a spleen, anything!!!!!!! You just name it! oh, I'm so happy! *Goes off to watch more Wallflower episodes*

back again!

Well, I'm sure you're wondering what happened to my promise to blog every day. Weeeelllll, quite frankly, I have had absofrickin'lutley nothing to talk about. Get up, go to work, come home, do some chores, read, watch some tv, go to sleep. Nothing much that deviated from that. But something interesting happened today. Someone brought an alpaca and her baby in to the nursing home where I work today! The baby was less than a day old, and it was SO CUTE! It looked like a little long legged lamb! And it was so soft! imagine the softest thing you can think of, and this was softer. It was so neat! you ought to have seen the look on the residents faces! They love it when critters come in, and lemme tell ya, this was some critter! One lady didn't know they were there until they came up behind her, and she had such a look of surprise on her face when the mother stuck her face over her shoulder. then such a sweet, amazed smile spread over her face. and you gotta understand something, this woman does not smile. If she smiles, it's a red letter day.

Then, to make matters better, my little nephew came over and saw me at work. He just turned four, and he's very cute! I may not have birthed him, but he's my boy! His birthday was saturday, and I had his pressie at my house. He started twitching when I told him his present was at my house. My mom has keys, so she had to bring him here to get it, or he never would have given them any peace. Ah, youth. Then again, I'm the same way over presents, both giving and recieving, so I can see where he gets it.

Little Late, little Locked

Well, I know what you're thinking. SHE SAID SHE'D BLOG EVERY DAY! SHE LIED! FETCH THE TORCHES! Well, I have a good reason. From friday night to just now, I was locked out of my home. Yes. That's what I said. I was locked out of my home. And through no fault of anyone else, it was my own DUUUUUHHHHH moment.
My family went to the reunion in Kentucky this weekend, and I needed to go spend the night there to let the dog out of the house so he could pee. God forbid they should actually install a dog door. well, I packed an over night bag, 'cause I was intending to spend friday night there, go home saturday, let the dog out again through the day on saturday, et go home saturday night, 'cause they'd be home on sunday morning....not gonna happen. I left my keys sitting on my kitchen table when I shut my door, engaging the dead bolt. I was stuck. I had to spend the weekend at my mom's house, 'cause the spare keys were in her van, which was in Kentucky. Yeah. I'm a moron. I admit it. I'm just glad I filled the kitties food bowls before I left and cleaned the litter box. otherwise I would have come home to find a mess.

Well, there's my duhhhhhhhhhhhhh moment. I hope you find entertainment of the highest order laughing at it. Now, I'm off to wal mart to get some keys made...excuse me.

Kitty Kat Klimbers
I tell ya, when you get home from work, nothing surprises you more than a four foot, blue, fuzzy, cat climbing structure in the middle of your den. I knew my mom was having it built, and I knew it was almost done, but I see it now, and it looks so cool! It's covered in this bright blue shag carpet, and it's got three different levels, with three different hidey holes, with toys dangling off the ledges of the hidey holes. It's next to a window so the cats can sit on th top and look out. I haven't seen them climb on it yet, but I'm sure they won't leave it alone for long. LOL. I also had a bedroom door installed today. When I bought the house, there was no door on the room I chose to use as mine. I guess the house settled, and when it did, it made the doorway off center, making the door hard to open and close, hence the little old lady who lived here before me taking it down. Well, when the kitties think I should get up, they walk on me. My kitties have to be over ten pounds at the lightest, and lemme tell ya, when they walk on ya, it HURTS. LOL. Hence the door. The carpenter did a really nice job on it. It looks like it was always in the house. That's pretty much all the news for today. Talk at ya later! And c'mon inverness! A feeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww extra hours? I wanna kick your butt at 10,000 again. *evil laughter*

Day two of my running monalog

'Allo there everyone. I got home from work tonight, and while I was opening the door, a moth got in. Oh my, you would have thought Wiggles and Stubbs were junk yard dogs the way they chased that thing around. Good thing for it, it stayed up on the ceiling. It would have been kitty chow if it had landed anywhere. I gave the necklaces I finished to the woman for the wedding today. She seemed to like them pretty well....and I can't see the screen right now, because Stubbs just jumped in front of the monitor. Excuse me a minute.... Ok, back. And inverness, I haven't forgotten the deal. What say you? > I say at least a day.

Been a while, huh?

HEEEEEELLOOOOOOOOOOO EVERYBODY! LOL. Been a while, huh? Well, just a few days (or weeks, whatever) my good friends inverness and foreverknight were fussing at me to blog. Wellllll, I've got a deal for them. Or rather, a deal for inverness, since he's driving. I'll blog every day from now until they come to visit, if they stay longer than the few hours they were planning.  Smiley I know, I know, it's evil, and it's manipulative.....I'm so proud of this plan.  Smiley LOL.

Anyway, to start this blog off right, I've got some really cool news to share. I've reccently gotten an interest in jewelry making, and I brought some of the bracelets and necklaces in so my co workers could see them. Brace yourself. When they saw them, two people wanted to buy some stuff! I sold four bracelets and two necklaces! Three of the bracelets and the necklaces are gonna be used in a wedding for crying out loud! How freakin' cool is that?! I tried to get some pics of the jewelry, but none of them turned out well, unfortunately.

Here's some pics of other things, though.

I took this pic on my live forever bushes last summer. Butterflies were thick on those things. Every time I'd walk to the garage, I'd set off a flock.

This is a common buckeye. Don't you just love the eyespots?

Stubbs is settling in well. Here he is getting ready to ambush either me or Wiggles, I don't think he's quite decided yet.

If he was waiting for Wiggles, it'd be a while.

Well, there it is. Have a good day, night, evening, whatever!

Ok, if anyone was wondering WHY I typed in so many wierd tags, it was to get as many people here as I could get. Simply because I need some outsider opinions, and I figured where better to get opinions then Mindsay, where people are notorious for giving their opinions? This is my dilemma. I lost my job reccently, and I am deadly sick of this town. I have my nursing license, and I can get my license transfered to a different state without much trouble, so I can move pretty much anywhere in the country I wanted. A few friends of mine have been after me for ages to move up to Wisconsin with them, and I might be ready. But I don't know what to do!

PROS: 1: A new town, new state, new start. 2: My friends are there, which means I wouldn't be there alone. 3: A place to stay is secure. 4: jobs are always avaiable. 5:FREEDOM 6: my mom WOULDN'T be there.

CONS: 1: New state, new start. I know that is also a pro, but it can also be scary, and a con as much as a pro. 2: all my family is in Indiana 3: getting started in a new place is difficult. 4: how would I get everything up there? 5: would there be room for me in Wisconsin?

So there it is. C'mon folks, help me out. I need opinons, and I appreciate any that are given.

Well, things aren't going very well down here, maybe not for me, but for over 8,000 people in my area. We've been having MAJOR storms down here reccently, and with all the rain and flooding, a gas main broke down by the river. While there's no major ENVIROMENTAL damage, the damage to people is much greater. Over eight thousand people are without heat or power. Not only that, but it could be over a week before the thing is repaired. Schools are cancelled, busnesses are shut down because the depend on the gas for power, and that's not even the end of the problems. With the storms came wind damage. So many homes are damaged and power lines are down, so it's not only people with gas power that are without power, but electricity too. Things aren't quite a state of emergency yet, but they might be close. So. Yep. That's how things are. Wish us luck, folks.
